Governance

Governance generally describes how we take decisions, and how our members will be represented in that decision making process. Our governing documents explain the principals and rules we must adhere to throughout the decision making process, and throughout our enactment of our organizations core purpose. Our governing documents are hierarchical, with the Constitution being the highest level document. By-Laws fall under the constitution, establishing further detailed rules and processes. Policies fall under the by-laws describe these rules in further detail. Procedures are used to guide day-to day activities, and to operationalize policies.

The MSVUSU uses meetings of the Students Representative Council (SRC) to have discussions and take decisions. It also delegates to various committees & working groups.
